Amanda Denzer-King, LAMFT **

Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m glad you’re here and considering this step toward healing.

I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating relational challenges, life transitions, and personal growth. My work centers on understanding how cultural, family, and relational narratives shape our experiences, and supporting clients in reconnecting with their values, strengths, and sense of agency. I come from an LGBTQIA+ affirming perspective and have experience with people of all neurotypes. I am committed to providing culturally responsive therapy from a social justice framework that honors each client’s lived experience and individuality.

In our work together, I strive to create a collaborative, compassionate space where clients can slow down and explore their stories with care. Using a relational and narrative approach, I partner with clients to examine the stories they’ve inherited and intentionally reshape those that no longer serve them, fostering insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

I hold a Master of Family Therapy degree from Mercer University and an Associate License in Marriage and Family Therapy. I see clients under the direction of Hannah Boos, MA, LPC, NCC, CPTT and the supervision of Dr. DeVon Mills, PhD, LPC, CSAT-C

Outside the therapy room, I enjoy music in all its forms, camping and hiking, and spending time with family and friends. I’m also known to spend (too much) time on fiber arts like knitting, spinning, and weaving.

If this speaks to you, I’d be happy to offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to see whether working together feels right. And if I’m not the best fit, I’m always willing to help you find someone who is. I’m grateful you’re here and taking the time to explore what therapy might offer.
