Jahi Hamilton

ME.d, NCC, Certified Pet Therapist, Usui and Holy Fire Reiki II Practitioner ****

Hi!

My name is Jahi and I received my master’s in professional counseling from the University of Georgia. I am a Georgia native and have experiences working with a wide range of ages and backgrounds including those from the LGBTQIA+ community, couples, families, and people facing issues like depression, anxiety, spiritual struggles, grief, and mood disorders. As a counselor, I understand life can be overwhelming at times. My goal is to create a safe, affirming, and welcoming space where we can explore the reasons you may be seeking counseling.

My approach is person-centered and includes a holistic mindset to assist you in developing healthy and beneficial ways to cope with life’s challenges. I am relationally oriented and bring this into the therapy space with my clients. I have certifications in holistic healing methods such as reiki and also am a member of the Alliance of Therapy dogs and engage in therapy dog work as well. I utilize a social justice and cultural lens when working together with clients and consider therapy to be a place where you, as a client are meant to be seen, heard, and safe. I look forward to working with you and please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Specialties: LGBTQIA+ issues, Mindfulness, Relational Cultural Therapy, Holistic Healing Pet Therapy, Anxiety and Depression, Grief, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Services: Individuals, couples, or groups.
